1. General Principles

We strive to provide a positive user experience with Rowlytix. This policy aims to be fair and transparent in addressing situations where users may request a refund or raise a dispute.

2. Subscription and Payment

Rowlytix operates on a subscription-based model.

  • Free Trial: We offer a [7 or 14]-day free trial period for new users.
  • Billing: Users will be charged for their chosen subscription plan at the end of the free trial period, unless the subscription is cancelled before this time.
  • Subscription Renewals: Subscriptions will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle. Users can cancel their subscription at any time to prevent future charges. The cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Payment Method: Users must provide a valid payment method to subscribe to Rowlytix. By providing payment information, users authorize us to charge the applicable subscription fees to that payment method.
  • Payment Processing: Payment processing is handled by our third-party payment processor, [Stripe/Apple/Google].

3. Refund Policy

  • Right of Withdrawal (EU/UK): Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, users in the EU and UK have the right to withdraw from their subscription contract within 14 days of the contract's start (i.e., 14 days from the end of the free trial if no cancellation).
  • Digital Content: Rowlytix provides digital content.
    • If a user begins using the app and its features during the 14-day withdrawal period, they consent to the supply of the digital content and acknowledge that they will lose their right to withdraw.
    • However, if the digital content is faulty, the user is entitled to a repair, replacement, or, if neither is possible, a partial or full refund.
  • Faulty Service: If Rowlytix is not functioning as described, users should contact us as soon as possible. We will attempt to resolve the issue. If we are unable to resolve the issue, users may be entitled to a refund or partial refund.
  • Refunds After 14 Days: After the 14-day withdrawal period, refunds are generally at our discretion. We may consider refunds in the following circumstances:
    • Service unavailability: If Rowlytix is unavailable for an extended period due to technical issues on our end.
    • Exceptional circumstances: We will consider individual cases with exceptional circumstances.
  • Refund Process: To request a refund, users must contact us at help@rowlytix.com with their account details and the reason for the refund request. We will review the request and respond within 14 business days.
  • Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

4. Dispute Policy

  • Direct Resolution: We encourage users to contact us directly at help@rowlytix.com to resolve any issues or concerns before initiating a formal dispute. We are committed to working with users to find a fair and amicable solution.
  • Payment Disputes: If a user initiates a dispute with their payment provider (e.g., through their bank or card issuer), we will cooperate with the payment provider to investigate the matter.
  • Evidence: To resolve disputes, we may require users to provide evidence, such as:
    • Account information
    • Subscription details
    • Dates of usage
    • Communication with our support team
  • Outcome: The outcome of a payment dispute is determined by the payment provider, in accordance with their policies and applicable laws.
  • Service Disputes: Disputes regarding the functionality or performance of Rowlytix will be handled in accordance with Section 3 (Refund Policy) regarding faulty service.

We may update this Refund and Dispute Policy from time to time. You will be notified via email or in-app notification when significant changes are made. Please review this policy periodically.
